Pepa, a Spanish spitfire hairdresser and aspiring mystery writer, is single, heart broken and seven months pregnant when she discovers that she might have gotten pregnant on the night of her birthday when she blacked out and doesn’t remember a thing, turning her life upside down. From Seville, Spain. Just after becoming a doctor, Paula decided to leave it all and pursue her acting career in New York, where she currently lives. Paula studied Drama at Herbert Berghof and Uta Hagen HB Studio, improvisation at UCB and screenwriting courses at NYU. After starring in several independent movies and on the Off Off Broadway theater scene in NY, Paula co-produced her first production, the play “The Color of August" that took her to Sydney, Australia. Paula founded her production company, Marcapasos Films, with which she has produced the TV pilot "LA MANZANA"(The Apple), co-written and starred by her, winning the Best Acting Award at the ITV FEST in LA (2010) and the short film “BLACKOUT”, also written and starred by her. Paula is also in preproduction of a web series co-created by her called “VICTORIA IN THE NUDE”, which she’s co-producing with Comediva. Paula is also writing the feature version of her short film BLACKOUT, that she presented at FESTIVAL DE CANNES 2012 as part of the SHORT FILM CORNER.

Using technology and classical principles, Jose creates and designs sounds that are unique and groundbreaking. In 2006, his work was brought to the big screen in Antonio Banderas’ directorial debut in the Spanish film, Summer Rain. THE KITE RUNNER, was optioned to be brought to the silver screen. Award winning director Marc Foster and two-time Academy Award nominee, Alberto Iglesias were working together on the soundtrack for this film. Iglesias and Jose worked as a team to create a rich landscape of sound that would lead to an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Soundtrack, a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score in a Motion Picture, and Satellite Award for Best Original Soundtrack. Then he was hired to compose the NBC TV series, “THE PHILANTHROPIST”., produced by Tom Fontana, Barry Levinson and Peter Horton. One of his last score for the movie "THE INVISIBLE EYE", which was premier on CANNES FILM FESTIVAL has been nominated for BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC in the ARGENTINA ACADEMY AWARDS and INTERNATIONAL CRITIC AWARDS.

Francisco Lupini Basagoiti was born in Caracas, Venezuela of Spanish and Italian parents. He attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in Film and TV Production and Dramatic Literature (2011). During his college years he wrote and directed several short films as well as producing projects for fellow peers under the brand "a film by LUPINI". Lupini's work often features strong female protagonists and focuses on themes about family drama, human obsessions and the pursuit of truth through an Italian sensibility and Spanish flair, inspired by the Latin American experience. After graduating college, Lupini formed his company IMPERATOR FILMS that is currently developing its first feature film LA MAESTRA to be shot in Venezuela by the end of next year and a web series. Francisco received this year the Brett Ratner Award.
