Save The Date
Now in our 5th year, the 2013 festival will take place September 27th-29th in Beverly Hills! Screenings are located at the prestigious WGA Theater on Saturday, September 28th & Sunday, September 29th! Submissions are open for Films, Screenplays, Music & Art till July 30th! Join us for red carpet networking parties, 2 full days of workshops & seminars in an intimate setting with access to industry insiders, and 2 full days of spectacular screenings from around the world. You can still submit directly to us HERE.
In this section we feature our past filmmakers, Artists, Honorees, and VIP Speakers, and Actors from prior festivals. We will post on the lady filmmakers BLOG page, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest Pages and where relevant the Pinterest Page!
We hope to not only promote your work, but create interest in each other and build a sense of community for future collaboration and support of one another. This will be a bi-weekly newsletter so we hope that you will not only participate but enjoy reading about each other's successes and relevant industry news!
Additionally you can send updates about screenings and more immediate news to be posted by us on the Lady Filmmakers Facebook Page.

Louise (2010 Alumni, Jucy) has her next feature in development, being drafted by Rebel Wilson. Her most recent short is titled, Photocopier, and she is also directing the soap opera, "Neighbours." For more on Photocopier, including clips and a full cast, CLICK HERE!
Yvette (2011 Jury Award-Winner,Jillian Dillon) has written, directed, produced, and designed the new feature film Harold & Nettie, an odd couple story with a fashion/music twist. Yvette (pictured left) has launched a Kickstarter campaign which ends Saturday, August 3rd. CLICK HERE for more info!
Ndoema (2009 Alumni and Special Jury Selection, I'm Not Britney) just released her latest short film, Second Chance. It tells a story of a fairytale romance brimming with fashion and girl power. Jan (2012 Alumni and Screenplay Winner, Hadley House) won the "One Scene, One Page Keyword" competition for her screenplay "Unique Boutique," where an exchange at the Unique Boutique results in unexpected consequences. The contest's keywords were perfume, tattoo, and swamp, and Jan has won a $25 gift certificate and free entry to the Just Effing Entertain Me Screenwriting Competition.
Cara Pabst Moran Returns
Our 2012 Guest Artist returns this year in person. Cara will paint on Saturday September 28th in the WGA lobby where we can watch her in action and discuss her beautiful work and techniques. She will be available as well on Sunday September 29th to discuss her works. Check out some of her work HERE.
We are launching a new festival! The South Carolina International Cinema and Sand Festival & ExpoAKA CineSand will take place May 2014 in Myrtle Beach, SC featuring Classic Films, Indie Films, Industry Expo and Lady Filmmakers Programming at seaside venues! More news to come!
