Synopsis:
A mother who has lost her young son in a drowning copes with her grief by submerging herself in their backyard swimming pool. Her dangerous obsession is taking its toll on the family and her estranged ways are dampening and destroying the relationships around her. When her husband threatens to fill in the backyard pool, she is sent careening into the depths of her own grief and returns herself to the solace of the pool to re-live a final moment with her beloved son.

Lead Actress: Esther Anderson
Bio: Both a Gold and Silver Australian Logie nominee, Esther Anderson has not looked back since becoming a series regular on long running Australian drama series Home and Away. In 2009 & 2010, Esther won TV actress of the year by Cosmopolitan magazine and in 2010 proved to be a smash hit as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars (Australia). Esther is also well known throughout Australia for her endless charity work and is always dedicated to helping others. She is a talent and an inspiration. Esther is co-managed by Station Three in New York & Los Angeles.

Bio: Peter grew up in a large family sailing the oceans of Australia, and brings a unique stylistic approach to his directing. Confined within the hulls of a boat Peter’s imagination went wild and he needed an outlet, thus brought him to filmmaking. His first two short films Spokes (2009) and Blueberry Lane (2010) have gained him great success and have been screened at numerous festivals both in Australia and on the international circuit. Peter has written and directed a diverse range of award winning short dramas, documentaries and TVC’s and has been working with production and media houses since 2001. Peter is fast establishing himself as one of Australia emerging directors.

Bio: Samantha’s philosophy to producing is to surround herself with highly driven and creative people who have as much passion and enthusiasm towards filmmaking as she does. At all times her goal is to tell unique stories that are entertaining, emotive but above all, commercially viable to an international audience. Aside from film, she also works with some of Australia’s largest television production companies; FremantleMedia Australia, Southern Star Endemol and Granada. Samantha is currently working with Australian Director Baz Luhrmann as the EPK Producer for the feature film “The Great Gatsby” starring Leonardo Di Caprio. Samantha is currently developing the feature-length script “Creepy Chronicle” with writer Adam Lemmey, and hopes to attract investor attention from her first short film Breathless by showcasing her abilities as an up-and-coming Producer.
