Lady Filmmakers is more than just an international women's film festival in Los Angeles, CA. We promote the collaboration between women and men. We give 2 free all access passes for each film accepted into the festival. Official Selection films get their own dedicated film promotional page along with promotion on several social media sites. Our festival not only entertains it's audiences with our film programming, we create networking and education opportunities in intimate settings. Enjoy red carpet networking parties, 2 full days of workshops & seminars in an intimate setting with access to industry insiders, and 2 full days of spectacular film screenings from around the world. We also give a generous amount of awards in different categories including new categories in Animation and Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Screening at prestigious WGA Theater in Beverly Hills!
“ESCTASY,” the sequel to Irvine Welsh’s “TRAINSPOTTING”, was among many films featured at the 2012 Lady Filmmaker’s Film, Music, and Art Festival. The film stars Billy Boyd, Adam Sinclair, and Kristin Kreuk.
Along with “ECSTASY,” screening at the fest are Bryce Dallas Howard & Ron Howard’s film ”WHEN YOU FIND ME”, two films by Olivia Wilde - documentary “BASEBALL IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA” which she produced, and “FREE HUGS” which Wilde directed and stars with Justin Long.
“COMMERCE” starring well-known actors Joel Gretsch and Annabeth Gish,
and “A SUNNY MORNING” starring Charlie Cox & Sophia Myles.
Special industry speakers from 2012 were Academy Award Winner Michael L Fink (Golden Compass, Avatar, Tron: Legacy), Joyce Cox (Avatar, Dark Knight, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Men In Black III), Max Landis (Chronicle, Good Time Gang), Amy Vincent, ASC (Hustle & Flow, Eve’s Bayou, Black Snake Moan), Pam Dixon, President of CSA (Green Lantern, Barnery’s Version, Mask of Zorro), Avi Youabian (The Hive, Step Up Revolution, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never)

Thank you for joining us here at Lady Filmmakers. We celebrate Lady Filmmakers in key leadership roles in the making of short and feature length films. We are proud to be in our 5th year! A woman must fill the role of Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Producer, or Production Designer. We promote the collaboration between men and women filmmakers. We're not just for ladies!! In our 3rd year, we moved to Beverly Hills, California to the Writers Guild of America Theater this October 15th & 16th, 2011. It was an entire weekend celebration from October 14th-16th of films, music, and art from all over the world along with events and discount promotions at local businesses, restaurants, and hotels! Beverly Hills is a premiere travel destination with the best restaurants, shops, and hotels too!!
