Synopsis:
This tale of love, sorrow and re-birth follows the life of a young couple full of life and dreams for the future. Lee is a very talented composer on his way up and his beautiful girlfriend Isabella cannot be more proud. But, one fateful night a tragic event occurs that shatters their dreams forever and a hard choice is raised that grants Catherine the greatest gift of all.

Biographies:
ASHLEY MONTI - DIRECTOR
Raised in Rome she grew up watching many Italian films broadcasted on RAI and Channel 5. In 2009 she graduated from Toronto’s York University with a BFA in Film Production. During her years at York she collaborated on projects with Cuong Ngo. Ashley has also directed short films Amor Timida 2003, Does it Matter 2004 and The Metronome 2010.
Igor Szczurko - PRODUCER
While studying Political Science and Philosophy in university Igor found his passion for the arts and decided to pursue his dream of becoming a filmmaker. He started his production company SIA Productions, producing and co-writing his debut short film The Hitchhiker Project 2008 and producing the award winning short film The Golden Pin 2009.
Cuong Ngo - WRITER
Cuong was born in Siagon Vietnam and graduated at the Cinema and Theatre University of Ho Chi Minh City with a BFA before pursuing his second degree in Film Production at York University in Toronto. Cuong has a number of writing credits as well as being known in the festival circuit for having directed many award winning short including The Golden Pin 2009.
Mikhail Petrenko - DOP
Ukrainian-born Mikhail graduated from University of Indianapolis and York University with a BFA in Cinematography. His credits include the alternative drama Morning Will Come 2008 by Pouyan Dezfoulian which was TIFF student showcase nominee, CSC nominee for Best Student Cinematography 2009, Los Angeles International Film Festival nominee 2008. Park of Lonely Benches 2006 which won Best Short Film and Audience Choice awards at Frame Film Festival 2006, Who’s He Cannes Short Film Corner – Festival de Cannes.
Tom Yarith Ker - PRODUCTION DESIGNER
Born and raise in Cambodia Tom grew up in a family of artists. He travelled and earned his Degree in Commerce at Concordia University in Montreal. In 2005 Tom moved to Toronto and inspired by the city’s dynamic film industry has worked as creative director and fashion coordinator. Collaborating with Cuong Ngo and Igor Szczurko he has produced and production designed many award winning film projects including the Golden Pin 2008. His latest works include the feature length film Oriental Pearls to be released in spring 2011.
Patricia Philipopoulos - EDITOR
At Unionville High School she discovered her true passion for filmmaking. She collaborated on a WWII documentary called When we were Young 2004 broadcasted on TVO. She has worked as Assistant Editor on the documentary Turning Pages The Life and Literature of Margaret Atwood 2007.
