One night, as William working in the office alone as usual, he suddenly jolts, struck by a lightning chest pain. He drops to the ground and a raw crystal falls off his pocket. In his death throes, William reaches desperately for the crystal and holds it up to his eye. He loves looking at the world around him through this prism, but this time he sees more than he expected. He sees his whole life flash back in front of his eyes, in reverse, through the crystal.
