Synopsis: They dreamed of a perfect community. A place where their children would be safe from harm. They had a plan and they intended to execute it. When the neighborhood welcoming committee invites their newest neighbor over for a slice of pie, we soon realize their intentions are far from neighborly. THE LIONESS CLUB is a dark comedy about four suburban housewives who will do anything to protect their young. As the blood pools we soon find they share more than cherry pie recipes! 'Desperate Housewives' meets 'Pulp Fiction' in this twisted comedy. When the justice system fails, these mothers rip off their aprons, extend their claws, and take out the trash!

Chelsea Aldrich (Writer/Director) - Chelsea Aldrich is an actress, photographer, designer, writer, and aspiring director. She has been acting since the ripe old age of two and entered into the film world six years ago as an actress. She gained an Associates Degree of Applied Arts from KD Studios Acting Conservatory where she learned all aspects of filmmaking. Since then she has worked on set as a First AD, Production Designer, Assistant Production Manager, and as a Production Assistant under various crew heads. Her combined experience as an actor and writer strengthens her skill in communicating her vision and expectations to the cast. In addition, her experience in photography and interior design provides a strong foundation for Production Design. In total, her experiences and training have prepared her to take on her first project as director.
Larry McKee (Director of Photography) - Larry began his visual arts career nearly thirty years ago as a still photographer, and has evolved into one of cinema’s most notable talents. Through training under the direction of master photographer Dean Collins and five-time Academy Award nominated cinematographer Allen Daviau (ASC), McKee mastered the art of capturing life through still and moving images. Holding factory certification, he served as a trainer and demo artist for both Fast Media and Pinnacle Systems for their post-production and live broadcast products. McKee’s television credits include productions for PBS, The Discovery Channel, TNN, and The Outlaw Music Channel. He worked as Producer and Director of Photography on the popular FOX 26 series, Bailamos, which consistently received six times as many viewers as other programs in its timeslot. McKee has worked on several documentaries, including a piece chronicling the life of serial killer Elmer Wayne Henley, Jr. and another centered around guitar legend Sam “Lightnin” Hopkins. He has served as Director of Photography and Producer on a number of motion pictures, including Through the Valley, In the Mirror Dimly, Escape of the Wild Thing and Suicide Notes. For over a decade, McKee has written and been interviewed for technical articles published in several film and video trade publications and websites.
