Synopsis:
70 year old Gina lives in a resthome. She is anxiously awaiting her grandaughter's marriage when her world falls apart: her daughter feels she shouldn't attend the wedding because of her precarious health. Gina decides to go on her own and upon arrival discovers she is at the wrong church. While resting at a bar, she meets Giacomo, an older man with frisky eyes. Together they go on a search to find the wedding reception but instead they slowly find each other.

Biographies:
Pippo Mezzapesa, born in Terlizzi (Bari) in 1980, has screenplayed and directed three short films, “Lido Azzurro”, “Zinanà” and “Come a Cassano”. In 2004 “Zinanà” won the David of Donatello Award as Best Italian Short Film. He directed also two documentaries: "Produrre Consumare Morire" and "Pinuccio Lovero - Sogno di una morte di mezza estate". This last one was in competition at the 65th Venice Film Festival.
