Synopsis: A life-changing encounter at a beauty salon between a wife who’s hiding her unhappiness behind designer shades, and a mistress who’s concealing her frustrations behind an orderly smile. Shalini, a beauty therapist and owner of a salon, is having an affair with a married man, Rohan Khanna. One day when Shalini is filling in for a sick colleague, she discovers that her first client is none other than Rohan’s wife, Mrs Khanna. Has Mrs Khanna come to the salon to confront Shalini or is this just an (un) happy coincidence? An insightful and visually stunning film exploring the universal themes of age, beauty and love.
