Biographies:


LAUREN CIARAVALLI (writer, director, producer) She graduated with a BFA in Film & TV and a minor in Spanish in May 2013. She’s thrilled that Tryouts, her first short film, has been honored by festivals at NYU and beyond. Lauren is in post-production on her short romantic comedy, Dream Date. While at NYU, she served as the co-director of the Fusion Film Festival and studied under directors Courtney Hunt and Susan Seidelman. 



BENJAMIN DEWEY (director of photography, colorist, titles artist) was born and raised at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado. Now he lives in New York and shoots narrative films, music videos, and documentaries but his mind still spends a lot of time in the mountains. You can see his work at BenDeweyFilms.com. 


VICTORIA VAUGHN (production designer) has designed countless short films, features and fashion shoots, creating an array of original props, sets and costumes along the way. She is currently in pre-production for her upcoming short film, The Fairies’ Child and works as freelance art director, animator and VFX artist. She graduated NYU Tisch with a BFA in Film & TV in May 2013. 


MARISSA RUTKA (editor, script supervisor) graduated NYU Tisch with a BFA in Film & TV in May 2013. She currently works as a freelance writer, director and editor in New York City. JA-ANN WANG (sound mixer and editor) studied Music Technology at NYU with a focus on sound for film. She has worked on several commercials, shorts, and feature films working as an assistant sound editor at Chrystie Street Sound. She was a finalist in the Audio Engineering Society international student recording competition in 2011.
