Growing up in Alaska, she’s been immersed in Native Alaskan folk lore and mythology, but doesn’t believe any of it. In fact, she’s done her best to get as far away from Alaska as possible by first enlisting in the Army during the Afghanistan war and then working with the FBI’s human trafficking division, mostly out of Las Vegas. What Jamie does believe in is justice above all else, and that there’s no emotion too big that a stiff drink (or three) can’t cure.
It's not a matter of if Jamie can solve the murder mystery in front of her, it's whether she has the stuff to see it through the twists and turns fate has in store.
