Be A Good Girl
Directed By Louiza Zouzias
Synopsis: Anne has been a good girl for a long time.
She lives with Edgar in a house tucked deep in the mountains,
far from anyone who might ask questions.
She cooks. She cleans. She obeys.
The rules are simple, and she follows them.
Edgar took her when she was a child.
She doesn't remember much from before.
What she remembers is him. The way he made her feel chosen.
But Anne is getting older now. Still young, just not young enough.
One day, Edgar comes home with a girl.
She’s unconscious. A teenager. New.
Her name is Rebecca.
Now Anne faces something she hasn't felt in years: a choice.
She could protect the girl. Maybe even save her.
Or she could do what she's always done.
Be good. Be grateful. Be chosen.
Unless being chosen means being replaced.
Louiza Zouzias (Writer/Director) is a multifaceted Greek-American artist. She attained her B.F.A. from the New Hellenic Institute of Drama in Greece where she received the National Award of Dramatic Excellency for her showcase performance as Hecuba, in the play "The Trojan Women."
Her classical training as a thespian uncoiled a deep love for examining the human condition and organically transitioned her artistic voice into writing and eventually directing. BE A GOOD GIRL is Louiza’s directorial debut which she wrote and also stars in.
