BIOGRAPHIES

M. Keegan Uhl

Keegan was born in Wisconsin, was raised in suburban Boston and attended Middlebury College in bucolic Vermont. He now lives in Los Angeles. 

His spot “Babysitter” was featured in Shoot Magazine’s 2012 New Directors Showcase. He also directed an award-winning commercial for Zippo that was featured in Shoot Magazine in 2011 and a short film that played at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival as part of Canon’s The Story Beyond the Still. His short “Lonaconing” is played film festivals in 2014. 

Keegan has been editing film and video for over 15 years. His past directing work includes short films, web content, TV and commercials. He is writing two feature films to direct in the near future. 

His deep editorial background as well as ten years of photography and a twenty years of playing classical music inform his work, his style, his vision and his rhythm.
